Articles must be submitted as a Word Document or PDF. In the email please include your FULL NAME, TOWN YOU LIVE IN (must be Berkeley Heights or Mountainside) AND PHONE NUMBER. Only your name will be displayed on the article, the other information is to confirm residency and will not be used for any other purpose.
We do NOT ALLOW Anonymous Posts unless you are an employee of local government agency or a non-profit that will take retaliatory action against you for exercising your right to express an opinion about local government. In that case you can submit the facts in connection to the issue and we will write on it under one of our names referencing a confidential source. Of course, we would need to verify you are who you say you are as a confidential source.
Articles need to meet our terms and conditions and BE OF SUBSTANCE. While we allow for all perspectives, we aren’t going to publish articles that don’t fit the vibe of the site. The only exceptions of course are endorsements of Candidates – we give a great deal more latitude in that arena in the interest of folks becoming involved in the local political process.
