Understand And Act Locally
If you are concerned about our schools’ direction, this year’s election is critical.
Mail-in ballots are already out.
There are two candidates for BOE (Natasha and Sai) AND two open seats. It is critically important that you vote for BOTH Candidates (if you support both).
This election is not a LOCK. It is a low turn out year and the Ballot may cause some to believe it is an either or choice.
Do NOT mistakenly split the vote.
Vote for both.
The BOE is changing election policies as we speak, and as we know – the majority tends to work underground and behind the scenes to avoid questions or scrutiny. They also come out with 11th-hour surprises that give people little time to apply scrutiny.
Sai and Natasha have attended most if not all, meetings this year.
They have spoken at most if not all, meetings this year.
They have been there for families and students all year.
Make that the LAST Three Years.
They have not hidden; they have been vocal and have done the work.
They have faced a hostile BOE Majority with empty rooms behind them.
It’s time to do our part.
Take a few minutes to complete the ballot- check off both their names and mail it in.

Just make that effort.
A significant vote count will help undermine any procedural nonsense the BOE Majority will use in November to prevent Sai and Natasha from taking their seats for the first meeting or first year of their term.
“Behind the Scenes” is the only option the BOE Majority has left – everything they have supported has fallen apart when it comes to light. The “pretend change agent” strategy (Gale Bradford) has already been used, and the public is fully aware of the “she will work with the BOE to change them” popularity contest that has led to this year.

Ask your High Schoolers and Recent Grads to Encourage their friends to MAIL-IN
